AlbumKyushu大観峰/The Grand Panorama Peak

前半は九重連山を望む高原、後半の阿蘇五岳を見渡すロケ地はホントの大観峰展望台からほど近い丘の上です。春休みのこととて大観峰の駐車場には車があふれていました。リスキーな撮影だったかと言うとさにあらず。ここに椅子を置いて2時間も過ごす間、誰一人として上ってきませんでした。ボクは長年のサティ場探しの経験から、こういう場所を嗅ぎ分ける天才になっています。

The first half of the shoot took place on a highland overlooking the Kuju Mountain Range, while the second half—offering a view of the Aso Five Peaks—was filmed on a hill just a short distance from the famous Daikanbo Observation Deck. Since it was spring break, the Daikanbo parking lot was overflowing with cars. Yet, the shoot itself wasn't risky at all; in the two hours we spent sitting there, not a single person wandered up to the spot. Thanks to years of experience scouting locations for Satie-shooting settings, I’ve developed a knack for sniffing out places like this.
