オンシーズンの大観光地ロケ。いつものさとシエマジックです。通常、このロケーションでは裸足が良いのですが、ここではサティのサンダルを脱がせることができませんでした。川床がヌルヌルと滑って裸足では立っていられなかったからです。クロックスを履いて撮影していたボクでさえ、足を滑らせて深いポットホールにはまり、足首をざっくりと切ってしまいました。さとシエ史上初の流血ロケでした。
We were shooting at the major tourist spot during peak season—classic Sato-Shie magic. Normally, going barefoot would be ideal for this location, but I couldn't have Satie take off her sandals; the riverbed was so slimy and slippery that standing barefoot was impossible. Even I, wearing Crocs, slipped and fell into a deep pothole, suffering a nasty gash on my ankle. It was the first time in Sato-Shie history that a shoot resulted in bloodshed.
